The fact that none of the lines are perfectly straight gives the entire wire drawing a sense of either movement or instability. Also, the way solid objects are made with thicker, simpler lines than the waves in the water or the spirals along the sides draws the eye to the fish immediately, then around to the rest of the work.
I like the idea that the medium used to create these lines are wire as opposed to a normal drawing. It gives the lines a three-dimensional feel to them despite the fact that it is a two-dimensional drawing. I like how the flowing, spiraling lines in these works give the them a whimsical feel and give the works a distinct style and feel.
