I like how from far away you can't see the individual lines and it just looks like shadow, but when you look close you can really see the cross method used by the artist.
The texture and detail of this image really stand out to me. Though the drawing isn't terribly accurate the main form is preserved and the subject, which I interpret as the imperfection of the man is apparent.
