To be honest, at first I had no idea what this was...which is ironic since a house is typically one of the most recognizable objects. Her pieces are intriguing because she notices the negative spaces we take for granted but that make whatever it is (a house, a bookcase, etc.) itself. These pieces show that the positive and negative space are both necessary to complete the whole.
